On Steam it was tracking in the 80%+ mark, and now is slightly down to the 79% recent and 73% overall rating.
BUT even with these FACTS, the naysayers still complain that EVERYONE hates it. It's just tiresome to explain every time that the voice in YOUR head does not equate to the majority. These numbers reflect that about 75% of the people who bought the game, like the game. As I said earlier, the people that are happy don't post on the forums. You only hear from all the people who dislike it, and they sure are loud. With enough posts from them, they start to further reinforce their own incorrect assessment of the game.
Making threats and suggesting they fire people is not a little, its WAY over the top for a video game. I mean really people?!?! When I don't enjoy a game, I move onto the next one. Why waste your time complaining about it?
Yeah let`s see what marks it will get when the game is actually (soon released) and all that hope of "its`s just early access it will surely get better still" will disappear? And as you can see from ElPozoleOlmeca s comments it seems that Wargaming is already pretty deep in denial mode that anything could be wrong with their precious little tablet MOO.
And as for calling for the head of the lead developer, when that lead developer has done virtually nothing right when he has been the head of this project and his biggest merits are ignorant comments about MOO and space 4X and pr. plunders (see that 10% tactical combat statement) I would say it is time to ask for a change.
BUT IF MR. KEELING IS TRULY SO PRECIOUS TO YOU THEN KEEP HIM (just keep him out of the media and any major decisions please!), BUT AT LEAST DO SOMETHING TO THE OTHER PROBLEMS MENTIONED IN MY ORIGINAL MESSAGE AND WHO KNOWS HOW MANY TIMES IN VARIOUS THREADS ON THIS FORUM TOO.

The old fans want MOO2 (or sometimes MOO1), but Wargaming needs to focus on making MOO4. It will be a different MOO, just like every other sequel in the series. You will never please any fans of the originals unless you make an exact clone, which is probably business suicide.
We'll know if MOO4 is a classic or an average game about one year after its release, after we've all had time to play it, take a break, and then find out if we want to play it again after the new has worn off. That's the hallmark of a great game.
Except that is what multitude of fans are regularly asking for in various forums. Just an updated copy of MOO 2 with better graphics and better battle system. But can any developer ever do it, no, they always have to hire some Chris "I have no talent in space 4X" Keeling to lead the project to oblivion. And that never ending stupidity and waste of money is just disgusting to watch.
And for all those asking for more contsructive feedback, I have given it in the past EA stages in the appropriate forums + on Steam too, but since Wargaming and NGD just ignores it everytime what is the point anymore? Go read those old EA threads through and implement the changes that I and many other users have frequently suggested and asked there instead of just fixing a couple minor bugs here and there.
