Does it show up after being built ?  Or is that when the app loses it ?

 

I did not change the buiild queue screen.

Looks like the they left the leader bug in the calculations for attack rating.  So the AI is thinking it has like 3x the damage.  I'm going to fix that and see what effect that has.

Once built it lost the "(Human)" part.

I've got to admit, it took me 3 tries of looking at that screenshot to spot the leader despite the fact it's in larger text and underlined. I think my brain was skipping over it thinking it was just the header for the next section of stats. I think it would go better near the top just under Cruiser XX, and it would be nice if it said Leader: Sveta instead. 

 

Colony attack screen looks good.

On the Leaders management screen when I hover over a picture I'm getting TOOLTIP_LEADER_LORE   Is this something with my system is this broken ?

 

This was me - silly off by one on the branch call.

Ho yes, about leaders :

I hope that when we have a ship leader that add "+20% research" (so, for the empire ?!!!), it is a print-bug and that this leader only add +20 ?

It is % based and yep it affects your entire civilization - think that it totally messed up.

Yeah, flat bonus would be more balanced.

Percent bonus is fine if it's balanced.  I'll correct that in my next 5X update. Something like 7/9/11/13/15 levels seems more reasonable for a percent bonus.

Yep set to taste, but I would consider 10/20/30/40/50 to be crazy high.  In theory this affects the player(s) and the AI equally so balanced regardless.   But that is once again a personal choice.

Well, since not everyone will have such leader show up, due to RNG, I'd say it still can be a bit unbalanced. Lower amounts would make it more balanced.

 

Speaking of leaders though, would be cool if some new traits would be possible down the road!

@Exoclyps: do you have any suggestions ?  Adding like the ability to just add any x trait you want in the yaml files is beyond the status of this code.  But adding a few new ABC leaders bonuses could easily be done.

 

@General:   Fighters - We talked about giving them daughtless type ability? I think I recall someone telling me they are finite in nature?  Just wondering if that is true and if so should it be that way?  After all in the game missiles are infinite.

Was thinking of perhaps flat research bonus as well. Had that in MoO2. Also there is a half-finished "tech bonus" that should give you a tech when you get the leader, so maybe would be cool if that could work out.

I'd like to see the mind control defense for leaders implemented. I want to give that to a couple Elerian rebel leaders.

I have not looked at the leaders stuff every closely - do all of them have multiple levels ?

Yes. The max level for all is set to 5. Traits like the tech discovery and mind control defense would need to be paired with other traits that have levels.
