DLC races power balance

Am I missing something on these new races?  If you actually try to build the Elarians, they cost 16 points.  The standard race doesn't seem to have any negative traits to balance them out.  

 

The Trilarians on the other hand seem to leave 4 points in creation.  Transdimensional and aquatic only cost a total of 6 points.  I noticed there are a lot of races that don't seem to balance out but the Trilarians are the only ones I found who are under balanced.  You could make a custom trilarian race and take 4 extra points in freebies.

Early on they stated that the regular races would have a slight advantage points wise over custom races, to prevent custom races from becoming too powerful. They wanted the regular races to remain good options even for experienced players. Seems they messed up on the Trilarians though and a buff is in order.

Basically all of the races are unbalanced. If I recall, the Silicoids have like 18 points while the Sakkra have 6. Of course, we have mods for that.
