I was thinking it would be really cool to see klingons, vulcans etc ... as the races with their ships and abilities. Seems like a perfect fit!

 

Escape Velocity, used to have a Babalon 5 plug-in that was AWESOME.

By the way if you liked Escape Velocity, I'd recommend Endless Sky which is basically a modern version and is really well done. It's free to play on Steam

That looks like it might be fun. Once I've won my first game I'll give it a try. The way I set up the game I'm playing now, it's going to be a while before I finish it, heh heh. 

 

I've looked at Endless sky. Haven't had a chance to try get into a game with it yet, but it looks promising. Still miss that great B5 game on EV nova.

 

I'm sure there might be some copyright issues as well ....

There would be a problem with copyrights to try this.  You might be able to create a custom mod for personal use, but you would not be able to share it with anybody without getting permission from Paramount Studios and the Klingon High Council.
