That is some level of inception you have going on here.....a link to a post within a forum that links to another posts within another forum lol.
Yeah sorry about that, but for some reason that seemed to be the only way that I was able to link to that Alkari picture, as when I tried to link to it directly there was some sort of restriction preventing me from doing that. I guess you guys at Wargaming are trying to keep the interest up in every forum by posting a little different material to each one of them, but as we are able to visit all of them that seems a bit silly to me.

Wow! The alkari scientist/military/spy guy wasn't bad but this one just plain ugly! I like it that they made them birds again but the Alkari leader in MoO was a conceited, pride eagle like guy, while this one looks like a human in a bird costume.A shame that they got so great ships and are so dreadful looking themselve.

Agreed. If you would ask me to describe that Alkari to someone I would say it looks like a clown in a bird suit, and that isn`t good.
Perhaps if I wouldn`t have ever seen the Alkari from MOO 1 or 2 this might be semi-ok, but after seeing them this is truly disappointing. Whoever did the Alkari ships did a fantastic job, but the designer of the Alkari characters themselves sadly dropped the ball badly.
Moreover, I advise that the tactical combat must be made more player controllable and informative for this to become a proper MOO game.
The long lost formula for space 4X game success = Good tactical combat + good empire management > than just good tactical combat or good empire management alone.
