Lord of Rigel still pre-alpha, but its true sequel of MoO, ignore this RTS crap... thx bye!

If you want something like MoO 2, with turn-based combat, you'd want to take a look at "Stars in Shadow", another game in development.

Ray will you ever get your Java MoO released? Are you still working on it after 13 years? Curious as I used to follow your blog.

Yes, I restarted the project about a year ago and have hired an artist to update the graphics. However, since Wargaming is now making a MOO  game, I can't really call it "Java MOO" anymore. It's the same game, but renamed to "Remnants of the Precursors".  The main site is www.PretendStudios.com and the dev blog is at www.RemnantsOfThePrecursors.com

 

It's a bajillion times better than what I started 13 years ago.

Seems there is little info, on how ti will look, but i favorited and will follow this, if you pan out what i really wish for last 15 years to come out, ill throw some hard currency in yo' face.

There are lots of "screenshots in work" on the dev blog, and lots of samples of artwork on the front page of the main site.

 

It will an updated MOO1. Also, no need for throwing currency. It will be free.
