How did you manage it? I presume both attack on Antares and Galactic Council happened on the same turn but what happened first. Did you fight or vote first?
in turn processing, vote happens after the battle, so its possible to time it, knowing that a vote happens every 25 turns.
but there should be min 3 players in the game for a vote to happen, so point-wise it does not help you: 100pts for winning the vote or 2x50 for eliminating that last two players.
it's a fun combo for the HOF though ...

yes, indeed that is possible, so you can get 7*50 + 250
(and in case of optimal council win 5*50 + 100 + 250)
